Dusty, Unplugged

I love these new "type these words into your tags box and post the first tag that automatically pops up" thingies, so fun. Let’s do another one:

  • can’t
  • don’t
  • first
  • help
  • please
  • one
  • my
  • will
  • stop
  • get
  • honestly
  • I’m

Hindsight is hilarious.

playstation: how long does it have?
into eternity and forever
Project X: is it for real?
no
Dreamcast: can it be stopped?
in its tracks
nintendo 64: can it survive
it could survive the seventy-fifth annual hunger games armed with nothing with a mildly rotten cantaloupe and a set of assembly instructions for an ikea desk

people that argue with cashiers are the worst kind of people

no they’re the best. why would you even be a cashier. they’re so stupid

There is no job that makes people stupid. Cashiers aren’t stupid. Retail is just another profession, like being an EMT or a radio DJ or an executive chef. Just because retail employees don’t save lives on a regular basis, or are seen daily on national TV, doesn’t make their job any less important than anyone else.

A great comic telling people to stand up for their fellow fans!

You want to know how terrible that these douche bags can get? I made a Sailor Venus cosplay for my younger sister who looked amazing and proud to wear it. I made sure she wore white shorts that covered her panties and stopped where the skirt ended, (because of the horror stories we heard about perverts taking pictures up cosplayers’ skirts without consent) Turns out there were jerks trying to take pics up her skirt, but started to complain to each other that she was wearing shorts under and it wasn’t fair. SHE WAS UNDERAGE AT THE TIME OF WEARING THIS COSPLAY! Not only were they attempting sexual harassment, but ON A MINOR! Please, reblog this, spread the word, and stand up for other cosplayers if you see/hear this.

I can’t tell you how flattered (and also somewhat triumphant) I am that my comic is still going around being shared like this. Keep doing it, and keep telling your stories, and this is how we’ll change things.
By the way, cons, the above is available in large size for printing and posting in your spaces and con books for free, just download them from here:

Why why why why why WHY is gallon smashing still a thing.

There is nothing hilarious about taking gallons of milk, throwing them down on the floor, then pretending like you slipped and fell in them. NOTHING.

All you’re doing is creating a hazard, damaging property, and creating more work for the more-than-likely under-manned, under-paid, over-worked staff of the store.

I may not be in retail anymore, but if I ever see anyone doing this in a store where I’m shopping, I’m alerting the store staff so they can take the appropriate action. If it were my store? The smashers would be cleaning up their own mess while waiting for the police to show up.
